Carole Marie Brennan

Carole Marie Brennan, 88, of Tucson Arizona, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, of natural causes.

Carold was born on September 2, 1937, in Hingham Montana. After graduating from Hingham High School in1956, Carole earned a teaching degree from Northern Montana College and dedicated herself to shaping young minds, teaching students in Rudyard and Great Falls, Montana, and then later in Oregon. She was well liked by her students. Her commitment to education reflected a deep care for others that would define her throughout her life.

In 1968 Carole met and married Douglas A. Beagles, an Air Force senior staff sergeant. The couple was stationed in Athens, Greece, where their daughter Lisa was born in 1969. They were later stationed in Tucson, Arizona, in 1971, a city that would become Carole's lasting home. They later divorced in 1976.

Alone and in an effort to create a better life for herself and Lisa, Carole went back to college and earned a degree in business. Her degree and her strong will to succeed, created the opportunity for her to become a single, successful career woman. After her working years were completed, Carole enjoyed many years of her well-earned retirement in her Tucson home.

Carole was known for her infectious laugh and her great sense of humor, qualities that drew people to her and brightened every room she entered. She was deeply passionate about genealogy, devoting countless hours to tracing family history and helping connect people with relatives they had lost touch with. Her dedication to preserving family bonds was a testament to how deeply she valued connection and heritage.

Carole was pre-ceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Alice Brennan of Hingham MT, Sister Alice Ann Brennan of Havre MT, and Brother-in-law Mitchel Bengochea of Nashua MT.

Carole is survived by her daughter, Lisa Beagles, her sister Marlene Bengochea, nieces, Stephanie (Tracy) McLain, Denise Winchester, and nephews Mark Bengochea, and Jon (Erika) Bengochea.

There will be short graveside service at the Havre cemetery Sunday August 9th, 2026, at 10:00 am. Immediately following the service, there will be fellowship gathering for everyone at The Duck Inn, "Antique Room" in Havre, located on 1300 1st St.
