OUT OUR WAY: Jack & Doc

Out our way, wearing a revolver in town is frowned upon, but up on the Tiger Ridge and further in the Bear Paws, it is a common sight, Why? One word: lions

I have shared before how two individuals in the back country had been attacked and mauled by cougars and I, myself, have had two run-ins with them. So, although sightings and much less encounters are rare they do happen.

In lion country, I am on alert and try to be prepared - but while I carry a .45, and have run into lions, I have never drawn leather. Why not? Jack and Doc.
