Happy Flag Day on Wednesday to everyone!
Did you know…
Woodrow Wilson established June 14th as Flag Day in 1916, but it wasn’t until August of 1949 that Congress officially established Flag Day.
Only the president, state governors and the mayor of Washington DC have the authority to order American flags to be flown at half-staff.
There are 6 American flags on the moon.
Montana Senior Olympics will be held June 15-17 in Polson, Pablo & Ronan. Any individual age 50 or older may participate in archery, basketball, cycling, golf, racquetball, horseshoes, swimming, tennis or track & field. Come on all you athletes, give it a try!
Sounds on the Square music performances will be given each Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Town Square in Havre (right there on Main Street). So, if you are in Havre on Wednesdays, sit a spell and relax with some tunes. Starts on June 14 and goes through August 16.
