Mark your calendars for the annual TURKEY TRAP SHOOT! It will be held at the Turner Trap area on Sunday, October 29th beginning at noon. This is sponsored by The American Legion Post #109. Everyone is invited to come and have a chance of winning a Thanksgiving Turkey! It promises to be FUN!!

Miles and Linda Hutton were in Dickinson this weekend to see Reece and take in the homecoming festivities there.

Anita, Lucas, and Bridget Reed were to Harlem on Saturday to watch the Wildcat Volleyball team play.

The Steve Hickel family was to Chester on Saturday to watch the Junior High Tornado teams play basketball.

Bill and Mary Hake attended a family birthday party for Laci Maloney last Monday. Also attending were Loren and Linda Wolery, Leesha and Chet Wolery and family, Shandel Fouts, and Randy and Diana Maloney, Garrett Maloney, and Gavin Maloney. Happy Birthday, Laci!!

Turner School will dismiss on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. for M.E.A. There will be no school on Thursday, Oct. 19th. Classes resume on Monday.

Max and Kirsti were to Great Falls this week to visit and have lunch with Nellie Cederberg.

There will be a second FLU clinic coming to Turner School on Oct. 26th. If you missed out on the first one, this is your chance to take advantage of a second one.

Yearbooks are for sale at the Turner School. Cost is $25.00. Call the school to reserve your copy.

There will be Wildcat football on Friday vs. Conrad at 7:00 and Volleyball vs. Wolf Point at 3:30. There will also be Volleyball Senior Night vs. Poplar on Saturday at 12:00.

Fall pictures will take place on Monday, Oct. 30th and Junior High basketball photos will also be taken. If you have little ones you want photos taken of, please have them to the school prior to the class photos.

Remember to attend the Halloween Carnival on Oct. 31st beginning at 5:00-7:00. The Junior High students have been busy preparing for this fun night. Plan to come! Have some supper and try to win a prize or two!!

Earlier this month, Terry and Tammy Jones celebrated their 32nd Anniversary and Terry’s 60th birthday by joining their family in Bozeman for a weekend of Bobcat fun. Joining them were Britney and Matt Tempel, Chad and Katy, and Chelsea and Jordan.

The American Legion Auxiliary of the Big Flat is in the process of setting up a wall of local (Hogeland and Turner) Veterans that ARE NOT members of the American Legion. They are looking for photos (preferably in uniform) of our local veterans. If you or a family member would like to be included on the wall, please send a 5x7” photo (photos will not be returned) and information including years of service and branch served in to:

P.O. Box 142, Turner, MT 59542. They are looking for National Guard and Reserve as well. They are hopeful of getting photos and information submitted to them by December 1, 2017. For more information, contact Kirsti Cederberg at 379-2387.

The first 4-H meeting of the new year was this past Sunday. A nice sized group of youngsters met and are anxious to begin their projects for the 2017-2018 4-H year.
