Williams Sworn in as Blaine County Clerk and Recorder

Tammy Williams, center, was sworn in as Blaine County Clerk and Recorder Thursday afternoon. Joining Tammy in the photo are District Court Judge Perry Miller, outgoing Clerk and Recorder Sandi Boardman along with her daughter and grandchildren. Williams is surely familiar with the position as she has served as Deputy Clerk and Recorder for the past 23 years and has worked in the recorders office for 33 years.

Chinook resident Tammy Williams has served the public for 33 years and this past Thursday was sworn in as Blaine Counties next Clerk and Recorder. Williams will take over the position from Sandi Boardman who is retiring.

Williams took the Oath of Office from Judge Perry Miller in a small ceremony in the Blaine County Courthouse that included family, friends and coworkers.

Williams is a Chinook High School and Northern Montana College graduate and began her tenure serving the public 33 years ago. She first served as a clerk in the office and for the past 23 years has served as Blaine Counties D...
