Although rainy and muddy conditions at the Blaine County Fair created challenges for youth livestock exhibitors, the Chinook FFA still considered the Blaine County Fair a success. Hello From the Chinook Senior Center We had a large gathering here, on Saturday, for Deb Olson’s family. There were lots of stories and lots of memories to share. On August 15, the Montana property tax rebate portal opened for all Montana taxpayers. Taxpayers who paid at least $400 in property taxes on their primary residence in 2024, are eligible to receive the full rebate of $400. CHINOOK – Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is receiving several reports of dead rainbow trout at Faber Reservoir 25 miles south of Chinook in Blaine County. FWP officials believe this is most likely due to a natural event caused by low dissolved oxygen levels in the pond.
