Chinook City Council met on Tuesday night, the 14th of October. The meeting was postponed from Monday to Tuesday because of the Columbus Day Holiday. City offices were closed, and city employees were not required to work Monday night. The Council meeting was well attended by residents with concerns, and City Council had a full quorum. Raymon Ronald Reid was born May 12, 1926, in Egeland, North Dakota. He graduated from Cando High School, then worked on local farms prior to joining the U.S. Navy- late summer of 1944. Ray spent time in the sunny Philippines, Japan and Hawaii (courtesy of the U.S. Navy) before being discharged summer of 1946. With the general deer and elk hunting season opening this weekend, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks (FWP) officials wish to remind hunters of several key principles.
