    The city of Chinook held this month's city council meeting Monday, December 8th, at 7 PM. This was the regularly scheduled monthly city council meeting. The city of Chinook holds a city council meeting on the 2nd Monday every month. At this meeting, the mayor, city council members, city superintendents, and residents who may be in attendance discuss safety concerns and city matters from the previous four weeks.     Chinook City Council met on Tuesday night, the 14th of October. The meeting was postponed from Monday to Tuesday because of the Columbus Day Holiday. City offices were closed, and city employees were not required to work Monday night. The Council meeting was well attended by residents with concerns, and City Council had a full quorum.     Chinook's family-owned and operated, Deli & Pizza Hangout - Rads, has a new kitchen. Mike and Kathy Radovich, owners of Rads Deli & Pizza, also own the building next door. The back portion of that building is where the cooking magic happens. The Radovichs opened the restaurant in December 2013.     The Chinook Senior Center, Senior of the Year, was announced in July as Terry Townsend. Terry is a very humble, loving husband, father, and grandfather willing to share his time and talents within the community he lives.   • Chinook City Water Supply

    You may have a lead pipe supplying city water to your residence or business. Lead solder and pipes were banned in 1988 by the state of Montana. Prior to 1988, lead pipes were in wide use in older homes from the early 1900s. There is a large percentage of homes in Chinook that meet the pre-1988 parameter. Chinook City Water Superintendent, Gabe Harry, is aware of at least two homes in Chinook that have lead pipes supplying city water to their residence.
