    Harlem High School English Teacher Heather Jorgenson found herself on the adventure of a lifetime last July after being one of 28 teachers selected from about 250 applicants nationwide to participate in the Bimini Shark Lab Teacher Institute in the Bahamas. On September 8, he opened his online store; late last month, he was invited to serve as a judge for the Montana History Portal; and on Thursday, November 2, he completed his latest build, Olaf the snowman from the film Frozen.     The Turner School Pep Club had plenty of activities leading up to Homecoming. Painting miniature T’s throughout downtown Main Street was a big hit. At the center of Main, a large T was painted with all the class years to represent the students in Junior and High School this year.     Elsa M. Olson Pomeroy, 94 passed away peacefully with family at her side on November 6th, 2023. Elsa was born July 3rd, 1929 to Fred and Martha (Solomon) Olson. She was always considered their “little firecracker” being born so close to the 4th of July. Her personality and be-haviors prove this to be true throughout her life and even in her final hours.     The Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation has recently received notification that the Chinook Pool Rehabilitation project was not selected for grant funding from the Montana Land Water Conservation Fund program. The Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation have been in contact with the MLWCF’s Grant Manager who informed the Board that there was “nothing that they could have done any better” when submitting their application.
