    The Big Flat 4-H Club met at Reed’s Elevator on Nov. 18, 2018 at noon. There were eight members present and three leaders. Roll call was a favorite Thanksgiving dish. Bailey and Hannah gave a report on 4-H Achievement Night that was held in Chinook last Sunday. The club voted to get matching t-shirts from Maloney Metalworks, and also to go ice skating for our December outing. (MCF) announces the grantees of the Blaine County Community Foundation Fund benefiting the communities and residents of Blaine County. The Blaine County Community Foundation Fund was established at MCF by Warren Ross in 1997.     Test results from three deer harvested in Blaine County have tested positive for chronic wasting disease. The deer were harvested within the 2018 priority surveillance area, which includes the northern half of Blaine County. As a result, the northern part of Blaine County — north of U.S. Highway 2 — has been designated a CWD-positive area. A previously existing CWD-positive area includes all of Liberty County.
