    Readers who have had a third grader at Meadowlark Elementary in the last several years are likely familiar with the term biome. In fact, they've probably helped at least one of their students create a miniature, table top exhibit of a "community of flora and fauna occupying a major habitat."     Additional Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Hunter Education course dates have been set for many areas across Region 6. All hunter education classes are free of charge. Many classes are being held prior to the May 1 application deadline for moose, sheep and goat, and June 1 for deer B, elk B and antelope.     Roughly 400 head of Cattle made there way around the outskirts of Chinook this past Thursday as they headed towards their spring calving grounds located about two miles south of Chinook at Teddy Powell's place.     Students from Chinook High School and Turner High School stand in front of The Lincoln Memorial on a recent trip they took to Washington D.C. The two schools combined this year to share the experience together. Several adults accompanied the students as the took in a NHL hockey game, a NBA basketball, visited the White House, the Senate, numerous museums and historical sights while on their trip.     Several members of the Havre Knights of Columbus were at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church last Friday to hold a fish fry. The Havre group said this was the third fish fry they had done in the last few weeks. Knights of Columbus members at St. Gabriel's hope the fish fry can become an annual event in Chinook.
