However a need comes, My Neighbor in Need tries to find a donor who can fill a need that has been verified. During the recent holidays an unusual need was received. A grandmother who has taken on the full time care of a grandchild with some physical challenges, made a request of a “used refrigerator.” For several months, including the summer, she had no working refrigerator. When her grade schoo...

Reporter's note: While working at a pumpkin patch last October in Washington State, my boss brought me an ag newspaper. On the front page was a story titled "In West, women farmers carry economic clout." It was a statistical summary of women operators in the northwest and included some general statistics for a number of states, including Montana. I have an extremely important piece of advice for anyone using a computer – please pass this on to everyone you can. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT call any phone number that pops up on your computer regardless of what is presented. Additionally, DO NOT answer any phone calls made to you that claim to be someone telling you there is a problem with your computer that needs to be fixed. THESE ARE ALL SCAMS!
