    On December 16 Governor Steve Bullock announced that Lake and Hill Counties were designated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) as primary natural disaster areas due to extreme weather and drought conditions. Because contiguous counties to a declared natural disaster county also are affected, Blaine County ranchers and farmers may be eligible for help for lost production.     A crane from Baltrusch Construction, in Havre, had to be called to move a semi-tractor and trailer crash last week at the drainage near the Red Rock Creek Bridge west of Chinook on Highway 2. The crash occurred about 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16. The truck caught the guardrail and skidded off the highway.     A wind driven wildfire burned about 1,000 acres east of the Fort Belknap Agency last Wednesday afternoon and evening. According to Byard Lame Bull, Fort Belknap's Acting Fire Management Officer, the fire began about 2:30 p.m. and winds gusting to 60 miles per hour eventually created a fire five to six miles long and a mile wide in some areas.     The final results are in at Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Havre check station for the 2015 hunting season. The check station was open from Oct. 10 (the open of general antelope) through Nov. 29 (the end of the big game season). In general, both hunter numbers and big-game harvest increased from last year.
