The Harlem Wildcat and Lady Cat Wrestling teams were in Glasgow this past weekend taking part in the 27th annual Scottie Invitational. The Lady Cats were once again very successful placing two athletes on the podium. Junior Kaitlyn Johnson won the girls 126 pound division while sophomore Izzy Baker fished second at 114 pounds. The Chinook Sugarbeeters performed very well at the Scottie Invitational in Glasgow this past weekend. Senior Tyler Schoen and freshman Emma Klingaman led the way with each winning individual titles. Chinook took 10 boys and 3 girls to Glasgow. Seven wrestlers in addition to Klingaman and Schoen won matches and all 13 have earned wins through two weeks of the season. The Lady Cats are a very young team and opened the season with a pair of games against teams returning much more experience, Friday night the Lady Cats fell 78-10. Thursday afternoon the 'Beeters fell to the Cut Bank Wolves 75-47. The Harlem Wildcats took part in the Class B Tip Off Tournament in Billings this past weekend. The tournament, held at Lockwood High School, featured a number of top Class B teams and presented a stiff challenge for the Wildcats. The Wildcats are very young this season with just four players having very limited varsity experience. The Harlem Lady Cats wrestling team brought home hardware a season ago but for the first time in school history they brought home a First Place Team Trophy.
