For December the weather is holding on and I hope you made good use of the nice weather.
On the calendar for Wednesday, Dec. 9 is Whist and we can use more players, so come at 1 p.m. to play cards.
Tuesday is Shanghai Rummy and last week’s winner was Mitzi Bruss. Also on Tuesday, Dec. 15 is the Cancer Support Program and the speaker is Ben Jennings LSW, licensed social worker. Call and make a reservation and eat with us at the center. The program starts at 11:30 a.m. and we ask that you come early as not to interrupt the program.
This Sunday, Dec. 13 is our once-a-month public card party starting at 1:30 p.m. with a potluck lunch after the cards. The more the merrier!
The board meeting is Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. and on the agenda is director, kitchen help, and the annual New Year’s Eve Party. All paid up members are welcome.
The movie is on Dec. 16 and this week is the Hallmark Hall Of Fame “A Dog Named Christmas” starting at 1 p.m. with refreshments being served.
Bingo is on Thursday and last week’s winner was Virginia Olson. Congratulation to all our winners!
The center is for everyone and we would like to see you here and have coffee and visit with friends.
