Marilyne’s party turned out very nicely. We had lots of help from Kathy O’Brien, Tom Tilleman, Sharon LaPlante, Kasie McIntosh, Rochelle Wohlschlager and Myrla McCoy. The Kitchen Band did a fantastic job as usual! We appreciate all your help.
Along with our usual activities for the week, we have planned the Public Card Party for Sunday, March 13.
There will be a free VITA Tax Clinic with a tax preparer here to help you on Monday, March 14 from 10:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. You don’t need an appointment, just stop in.
The Cancer Support Group meets on Tuesday, March 15 at 11:30 a.m. with a special guest speaker, Joe Lo Duca, CAO of the Cancer, Heart & Vascular at Benefis Health System and Dr. Steven Bailey, a Cardiothoracic Surgeon, presenting an update on cancer and the heart. Everyone is welcome. Call 357-2648 a day early for dinner reservations or come hear the program.
“Green Grass of Wyoming” is the movie showing on Wednesday, March 16 at 1 p.m.
Winners this week were Mike Randall for Shanghai Rummy and Annette Powell won the blackout prize for Jackpot Bingo.
For all you coffee drinkers out there… don’t forget we have a 5:30 a.m., a 9 a.m., and a 3 p.m. coffee group where everyone is welcome.
