Harlem F1 team returns from Nationals, gives elementary students demonstration

Don't blink, you'll miss it! The cars are propelled by CO2 canisters and can reach speeds between 250 and 300 mph.

After returning from a successful Nationals competition in Michigan, the Harlem High United Formula 1 team took time out of their busy end of the school year schedules to present a demonstration at Harlem Elementary.

The team set up their tracks and readied their CO2 powered cars - then the race was on! The students and staff were absolutely astonished at the tremendous speeds the cars reached. The team members also fielded many questions from the curious onlookers, who thanks to the Formula 1 team, are looking forward to joining the club when they reach high school.
