Balin Adair enjoying the ice cream he made at our final Summer Reading Program.

The Summer Reading programs are finished this year. Kids can still read and put their name in for prizes until Friday August 4th. We will draw for prizes at 5:00 on Friday August 4th. We will also determine the top reader at that time and schedule the after-hours pizza party. Accelerated Reader tests will be available until school starts.

"Bounty of Greed: the Lincoln County War" by Paul Colt is a new western ready for checkout. If you like to read suspense and thrillers, you are in luck this week. Hunting a killer within New York's urban jungle becomes the biggest case of Alexandria Cooper's career in "Deadfall" by Linda Fairstein. Jonathan and Jessie Kellerman have joined forces on "Crime Scene," the first book in a new series. In "The Lying Game" by Ruth Ware, the rules are simple: 1. Tell a lie. 2. Stick to your story. 3. And never, ever get caught. In "The Marriage Pact" Michelle Richmond crafts an intense and shocking tale that asks: How far would you go to protect your marriage? "Dark Rites" by Heather Graham is a Krewe of Hunters novel.

New movies this week are The Lost City of Z, The Zookeeper's Wife, Boss Baby, Gifted and Smurf's: the Lost Village.

There is always something going on at the library. Check us out on Facebook or look us up on our website at http:www.blainecountylibrary.org for up to date information about what's going on!
