Sugarbeeters improve to 5-0 with sweep of Chester/Joplin-Inverness

The Chinook Sugarbeeter volleyball team improved to a perfect 5-0 in District 6C-East play after sweeping the Chester/Joplin-Inverness Hawks 25-13, 26-24, 25-13 Friday evening.
Saturday the girls dropped a three set match to the Fort Benton Longhorns, 25-20, 25-22, 25-16 to fall to 6-2 overall.
Friday in Chester the 'Beeters started fast collecting 13 kills in the opening set as they raced out to a big lead early to take the opening set 25-13.
The Hawks rallied a bit in set number two but the Sugarbeeters were able to come together as a team and hold on for a 26-24 win.
