White Pine 4-H Club September meeting report

 

October 24, 2018



President Rebecca Stroh called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. on September 20, 2018, at the Meadowlark Cafeteria.

Lincy Johnson led the American pledge and Emma Klingaman led the 4-H pledge.

Minutes of the August 16th meeting were read and approved.

We had no treasurer’s report at this time and have not received any communications. No bills were presented.

Report was given on the Council meeting. Window displays will be judged this year and need to be up by October 10th. There will be an Ortner steer award through the 4-H Foundation this year (Linda and Butch Ortner will be donating a steer to a 4-H member to take to the fair). Minimum steer weight has been increased from

950 to 1050 lbs. Achievement night will be November 11th, no time has been set yet.

The Council will meet the first Monday of every month with an email being sent if no meeting needs to be held.

Under old business, we will meet to hang up the window display at Finley’s on September 30th at 1:00pm.

Under new business, we held officer elections. The results are as follows:

President: Rebecca Stroh; Vice President: Owen Davies; Secretary: Emma Klingaman; Treasurer: Katie Tilleman; Reporter: Grace Buck; Historian: Sydney Liddle

4-H record books are due September 28th. The next Council meeting is October 1st at 6:30pm.

Daniel Tilleman motioned to adjourned the meeting and Owen Davies seconded it. Motion carried.

Thank you to the Davies family for hosting the meeting.

Our next meeting will be October 19th, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. in the Meadowlark School Cafeteria.
