The final week of high school basketball in 2018 included the Chinook Sugarbeeters remaining perfect on the season with a pair of District 9C wins over the Chester/Joplin-Inverness Hawks, 68-26 Friday night and the Box Elder Bears 79-49 on Saturday.
The Hays/Lodge Pole Thunderbirds also closed out 2018 strong with wins over District 9C rivals, the North Star Knights on Thursday 74-44 and the Big Sandy, 79-63 on Saturday.
