Chinook course hosts 23rd Annual Fireball

The 23rd Annual Fireball had a full field once again this past Saturday and as usual there were some outstanding hole prizes up for grabs. Above: The weather was a bit cool all day and rain fell prior to the start, but by the time this group got to the Par 3 13th hole, it was a pretty nice day.
The Chinook Golf Course held the 23rd Annual Fireball Tournament this past Saturday and again the course was packed with players. Plenty of hole prizes were available including a Trip to Hawaii and $5,000 Hole in one Prizes and even a $10,000 three putt challenge.
The team of Jake Diemert, Gerry Vies, Lane Seymour and Mike Seymour took top honors with a score of 59. The quartet also won the Calcutta with a back nine score of 29. Jeff Brandon, Cory Brothers, Jay Jamieson and Cale Kaupp were the first net winners overall (51.89) and also cashed in by finishing first net in the Calcutta (25.44).
Harlan Mount, Nate Mount, Jazz Parker and Rob Williams were second overall net winners (53.09). Chris Adkins, Katie Diemert, Kelcey Diemert and Scott Gunderson were third overall net with a 53.23. In the Calcutta they finished 2nd net (25.61). Matt Frye, Mike Jones, Jason Metcalf and Bob Schmitt finished third in the Calcutta with a 26.18.
There were 16 Deuces on the day paying $25 a piece. No Hole in One prizes were won and in the three putt challenge no player was able to sink the three putts to win the $10,000 Cash.
At the conclusion of the tournament, players were treated to a New York Steak dinner and plenty of door prizes were given away with everyone walking away with something.
The winner of the Grand Prize ticket drawing for 18 Holes and two carts for four players at Marias Valley Golfe Course in Shelby was Jazz Parker.
The tournament is always full and many spots in the next years tournament field have already been reserved. The 25th Annual Fireball will be played on Saturday, August 15, 2020.
