Lady Cats edge Malta 48-47, now 5-0; Chinook, Hays/L.P., Turner earn splits

Harlem sophomore Taya Trottier beats the M-ettes down the court Friday night in the Lady Cats Home and District 2B opener. The Lady Cats won a thriller, taking down the M-ettes 48-47 to remain perfect on the season.

The final week of action on the hardwood in 2019 saw all four Blaine County girls basketball teams find the win column. The Harlem Lady Cats edged out the 48-47 Friday night in their District 2B and Home opener Saturday the 'Cats clobbered the Wolves 63-40 to finish 2019 with a perfect 5-0 mark.

The Hay/Lodge Pole Thunderbirds improved to 3-1 after a 62-14 thumping of the Big Sandy Pioneers Saturday on the road.
