On Wednesday, we experienced strong winds and because of it, a prairie Fire started up on the Wing Road near Matters. The flames spread quickly and moved South and East threatening the Catholic Church and many homes in its path. Fire Departments all over the area responded as well as many famers and neighbors with water trucks.

No buildings were lost but crops and bales were destroyed in its path. Lorin Krass rescued his Mother as she didn’t see the fire coming. Thanks for everyone who responded and saved us and our homes.

Family visited and helped Jane Krass throughout the week. Cindy Reed came from Billings on Sunday and built a new step for Mom and Dad Krass.

Mike and Crystal ,Cassidy, Holly, Cooper, and Lucy Grabofsky were overnight guests at Grandma and Grandpa Becks Bed and Breakfast while they were cutting their crop by Hogeland.
