Harlem Library

The Harlem Library Board will meet today at 4:15. The Book Club meets Mondays at 4 P.M via Skype to discuss “The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek.”

Story Time Online for children of all ages is held Tuesdays, 10 A.M. via Facebook Live. The Sept. Book Challenge it to read a book written before you were born.

The deadline to complete the 2020 Census is Sept. 30. Make sure you are counted! Come to the library if you need assistance. The library has mobile hotspots available for check out. The library Wi-Fi in on 24/7 to provide internet access.

Blaine County Library

Mobile Hotspots available for checkout. After School Hangout for grades 7 & 8 Mondays at 3:30, Story Time Tuesdays at 10:30, LEGO Club for grades K and up Thursdays at 3:30 and After School Hangout for grades 5 & 6 Fridays at 3:30. The Blaine County Library Board of Trustees will hold their regular monthly meeting Monday September 28th at 4:00 p.m.

Community Foundation Grants

Applicants must be either a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or an exempt governmental unit. Grants will range in size from $500 to $2,000. Grants must be used for projects benefiting communities or residents. Eligible projects must provide a direct benefit to local residents, be sustainable, and address important, unmet needs. Grant applications will be accepted Aug. 31 – October. 2, 2020. Aaniiih Nakoda College

“07/01/20 effective date. At all times while on campus, all students, faculty and staff, including all summer interns working on campus are required to wear face coverings/masks that cover both nose and mouth.

Staff and faculty are NOT required to wear a mask in their respective offices. Masks will be required when out on campus, when students are present, when you are less than 6 feet of each other and/or in small campus meetings”

Bear Paw Cooperative

Hearing Screenings will take place in Bear Paw Cooperative member schools from August 24 through October 30, 2020. Children enrolled in kindergarten and first grade, and ninth or tenth grade will be screened. No other children will be screened without parental permission.

Friends of the Pool & Park

Friends of the pool and park foundation meeting will be held Thursday, September 24 at 6 PM at the Sweet Park. Everyone is welcome to attend and give input on what the foundation is working on.

Blaine County Airport Commission

The SEPTEMBER meeting for the Blaine County Airport Commission Board will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at the Firehall Building in Turner Mt.

Cemetery Meeting

Our next meeting will be October 15th in the ECC room at the Courthouse.

Harlem Food Bank

The Harlem Food Bank is working toward raising money to match the $2000 that Town Pump will match if we can raise that much. In the past the Food Bank has been very successful but times are very different now. The deadline is October 31, 2020 for anyone to make donations. Any help the Food Bank receives will be appreciated and donations will be put to good use. You can send you donations to Jack L. Siemens, Box 402, Harlem, Montana, 59526.
