Hogeland Happenings

February 17, 2021

Sharon Goodrich visited Jane Krass on Wednesday.

Susan and Gene Billmayer were in Great Falls for three days, returning Wednesday, after Gene had kidney stone surgery.

Ash Wednesday services will be held at the Turner Lutheran Church on Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 5:00 p.m.

Holly, Cooper, and Lucy Grabofsky were lunch guests at Grandma and Grandpa Beck’s home on Saturday. Then Grandma took them to spend the afternoon to visit Harley Jo Beck, who was celebrating her 9thbirthday.

Grandma and Grandpa joined them for birthday pancakes at Shawn and Bobbi Beck’s later in the evening along with other family members.

Hilary, Hannah, and Natalie Richman visited Jane Krass on Sunday and brought her supper. They also visited Diana Maloney and Linda Hauge who were also at Jane’s.

The Tornadoes played North Star in Turner with our girls winning their game and our boys losing in a heartbreaker 1-point game. Turner played at home vs. Big Sandy on Friday with our girls winning and our boys lost their game. Turner traveled to Rudyard to play North Star on Saturday with both of our teams losing their games.

This week District 9-C Tournament action begins. Locations will vary for Tuesday and Wednesday’s games. Semi-final, consolation, and championship games will be played in Havre beginning on Thursday. Tune in to NFHS and watch games if you don’t have pre-paid admission tickets. Best of luck to both of the Turner Tornadoes teams!
