Pints for a Purpose to Fund Local Foundation

Tomorrow night, Thursday, May 13, the Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation will be the benefactors of proceeds from a Pint Night event hosted by Triple Dog Brewing Company, located at 675 1st Street West in Havre.
As part of their Pints for a Purpose program, from 4:00 p.m. until closing, Triple Dog will donate to the Chinook non-profit $1.00 for every pint of beer sold. These funds will support the Friends Foundation, which is dedicated to fundraising for improvements to the Chinook City Pool and the Sweet Memorial Park.
"We are so thankful to Triple Dog Brewing for choosing our Foundation as a recipient for donations," a Foundation member stated.
Organization members encourage people to attend this event in support of the Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation (FPPF).
Late in April, the Foundation announced that those who shop on Amazon can also help the FPPF by selecting that organization as their charity when shopping. "We hope you will consider shopping local, but for those hard-to-find items, give our Amazon link a whirl," their website declares.
To do this on a personal computer, interested shoppers can simply go to smile.amazon.com and select the Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation in Chinook.
To do so on a cell phone will require several steps: opening the Amazon app, tapping on AmazonSmile within Programs and Features, selecting "Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation" as one's charity of choice, and activating AmazonSmile in the app. Amazon will donate a portion of eligible purchases to the local Foundation.
