Chinook High School continues to recognize the efforts of their honor students. To earn Honor Student status, a senior student must have a cumulative 3.0 grade point average or higher. Many of these students are not only high achievers in the classroom, but are high achievers in all areas of the school environment.

Izayah Abayomi- Izayah is the son of Amanda Haney. Izayah has been in Pep Band all four years of high school. He was also chosen for Honor Band and lettered in both Pep Band and Honor Band. Izayah has consistently been on the honor roll, lettering for Academics. He also lettered as manager for Football and Basketball, a position he filled for 3 years and was a two-time Academic All-State recipient. Izayah was in Science Olympiad one year, a student council class rep for two years and is currently the student body treasurer

Hailey Bell- Hailey is the daughter of Courtney and Bill Bell. Hailey has been on Varsity golf for four years and received Academic All-State. She has also played Varsity Volleyball for four years, and Basketball for one year, again receiving Academic All-State. Hailey was involved in Science Olympiad for two years, active in Media Tech and on the yearbook staff. She received Academic Honors all four years of High School

Jade Cecrle- Jade is the daughter of Kory and Mitzi Cecrle. She has been active in Basketball and Volleyball for four years, earning letters and playing varsity for 3 years. Jade has also played Varsity Tennis for four years, going to State two of those years as well as lettering. She has been consistently on the honor roll and an active member of JUMP and the JUMP Mission team. Jade is also very involved in FFA, she has earned her Green hand degree, Chapter degree, an SAE grant, and several fair awards. Her agronomy team also placed first in district. Jade is the recipient of a GCU faculty scholarship as well.

Reese Elliot- Reese is the son of John and the late Lee Ann Elliot. Reese has been active in Football and Basketball for four years, lettering in both. He also played Golf for four years. Reese was All-Conference in Football two years and All-Conference and All-State in Basketball two years. He has been on the honor roll throughout High School and received Academic All-State as well.

Anna Getten- Anna is the daughter of Bernard Getten and Tanya Getten. She was active in FFA for two years, 4-H two years and Rodeo two years. Anna played Basketball two years and Volleyball one year. She has been consistent on the honor roll. Her Junior year she participated in the Foreign Exchange Student program.

Covenant Governor- Covenant is the daughter of Ramona Governor. She has maintained honor roll status. Covenant has been involved in Choir and Music Production and was selected for Honor Choir.

Damon Hannum- Damon is the son of Darin Hannum and Shilo Seymour.

Damon has been active in sports all of his High School Career. He played Football and Basketball and participated in Track for 4 years and received letters. He is also a 3-year NHS member and honor roll student.

Hailey Bell

Ginger Hauer- Ginger is the daughter of Jayson Hauer and Jami Britt. Ginger has played Basketball two years, and managed for one, played Varsity Volleyball four years, Varsity Track 3 years and Varsity Golf one year. She received Academic All-State in all four sports as well as most improved in Volleyball, Neil Neibauer award, Bob Taylor Sportsmanship award and 1st team All-Conference. Ginger has been a member of Science Olympiad for four years, and Pep club where she has been Secretary and has been President for the last two years. She has served as class representative on Student Council for two years, Class Vice President and Student Council Vice President. Ginger was in Travel Club, DC Club and is an NHS member. She has been on the honor roll and received Academic Honors throughout High School
