Shores Floral Has a New Owner

After 33 years in business as the owner of Shores Floral & Gift, Bonnie Weber has sold the shop to Tomi Simenson, although Weber will continue to own the greenhouse portion of the business. Simenson officially took over the business on July 28.
Describing her path to business ownership, Simenson said, "Ten years ago I walked into Shores looking for a job. I was just hoping to help some with the retail side of things, and Bonnie informed me that I would be arranging flowers instead. In my head I thought, 'Yeah, right; we shall see!'"
