Eating Tacos Tomorrow May Support Literacy

Why limit yourself to tacos on Tuesdays? On Thursday, January 27 from 5:00-7:00 p.m., the Plant a Seed. . . READ! organization is teaming up with Taco John’s for a Crunch for a Cause fundraiser.

In order to participate in the fundraiser, a person simply needs to show the group’s flyer—either a printed copy or a copy on a mobile device—or mention the promotion. Then, Plant a Seed. . . READ! will receive 50% of the proceeds from any orders made during the two-hour time slot.

Plant a Seed. . . READ! is an educational community impact project whose mission is to educate and enhance the language growth of children (0-5 years), to raise the importance of reading aloud to preschool children, and to promote the enjoyment of reading as a family event.

Committed to getting books in the hands of children in preparation for school readiness and life-long learning, Plant a Seed. . . READ! develops literacy activities for communities, families, and child care providers. In addition to their programs and advocacy, they fundraise for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. For sponsored children in north central Montana, the Imagination Library chooses and sends age-appropriate books that are paid for by local groups, such as Plant a Seed. . . Read!

Anyone seeking additional information about the group or wishing to get involved can visit their website: plantaseedreadmt.org/, stop by their office at Suite 31 in the Holiday Village Mall, or call 406-400-2529.
