Hays/Lodge Pole Wins First-Ever Speech and Drama State Trophy

The Hays/Lodge Pole Thunderbird thespians won Third Place in Class C Drama at the State B/C Speech and Drama Tournament held on January 28-29 at Huntley Project School in Worden, Montana. Head Coach Paul Condon, Jayla Haakanson, Haley Cichosz, Donovan Chandler, Alexia Walls, Riley Werk, and Assistant Coach Natacha Doney.
At the State B/C Speech and Drama Tournament held on January 28-29 at Huntley Project School in Worden, Montana, the Hays/Lodge Pole Thunderbird thespians won their first-ever State Speech and Drama trophy. Helping their team to earn Third Place in Class C Drama, Haley Cichosz and Jayla Haakanson captured second in Dramatic Theater.
In addition to sophomores Cichosz and Haakanson, the Thunderbird team is comprised of Riley Werk, senior; Donovan Chandler, sophomore; and Alexia Walls, freshman. As a team, they finished third behind West Yellowstone and Fairview.
