Lady Cats Fall Short in Poplar & Fall 77-60

The Harlem Lady Cats were back in action this past Saturday as they took on the Poplar Indians. The Lady Cats made the trip east to Poplar for an early season conference clash before the holiday break. The Lady Cats were efficient offensively, but the defense struggled to slow down the Indians in a 77-60 setback.

The Lady Cats had their running shoes on early as a fast-paced first quarter ended with Harlem down three 22-19 heading into the second quarter. Senior Emma Billmayer dropped in a pair from beyond the arc and Harlem had seven players get in the scoring column in the opening quarter...
