Proposed US 2 reconstruction near Zurich

ZURICH, Mont. — The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is announcing and inviting the public to comment on a proposal that will reconstruct about 7 miles of US Highway 2 (US 2), on either side of Zurich. The project begins at Battle Creek Bridge, and extends east, ending west of 8 Mile Road.

Proposed work includes widening the shoulders to 8 feet and installing a 4-lane passing section between mile markers 410.2 and 412.
