High school basketball returned to the area this past weekend, and there were plenty of exciting games on the slate.
For the undefeated Harlem boys, last Friday saw the Wildcats suffer their first loss of the season. In a District 2B showdown in Malta, the Mustangs edged the Wildcats 80-72. Harlem trailed big heading into the fourth quarter, and even a 25-11 to run in the final eight minutes wasn't enough to catch all the way up.
