In what is always one of the biggest wrestling tournaments to end the season, the Chinook boys wrestling team performed very well last Saturday in Malta.
The Sugarbeeters, under head coach Ben Stroh, finished third at the Malta Invitational last Saturday, scoring 94.5 points. Only first-place Glasgow and second-place Circle outscored the Beeters in the key tournament.
In one of their best showings of the season, Chinook sent nine wrestlers to the podium on Saturday, led by champions Hayde Berreth (132) and Patrick McKenzie (175).
