Turner Will Read Like Olympians in February

In honor of the Winter Olympics, Turner Public School students will celebrate I Love to Read Month with an Olympic Reading Challenge. According to school personnel, students and staff alike will be reading like Olympians.

School Librarian, Mrs. Shelly Harmon encourages all participants to log their reading time and pages/books at school and at home. For every 20 pages read, readers will add a link to their Olympic paper chain. The group with the longest chain will win a prize, although Harmon hasn’t yet revealed what the prizes might be.
