Turner's Bridget Reed scores 1000 career points

It was an incredible season for the Turner girls basketball team.

Not only did the Tornadoes win the District 9C regular season title, but, they hoisted their first 9C championship trophy in four decades last month at the Havre High gymnasium. That win also pushed Turner into the Northern C in Great Falls, where the Tornaodoes have been a few times in the last 10 years.

There, Turner played well, though the Tornadoes didn't quite make it to the state tournament. Still, it was a great year for the Tornadoes, and that great season included senior Bridget Reed reaching an incredible milestone.

At the Northern C back in February, Reed was honored for reaching the 1,000-point club, a feat that is always tough to achieve in high school basketball. Reed's incredible accomplishment is a testament to her hard work and dedication, but also to her talent, as she has been a starter and key scorer for the Tornadoes for years now.

Reed's contributions to Turner basketball will no doubt also inspire the next generation of Turner girls to keep the ball rolling.
