We've Got The County Covered
Taking fifth place on the team test and securing some top individual scores, Chinook's Academic Olympics Team competed in Glasgow on Wednesday, March 25. Advisor Mr. Gerald Llante, Carter Rayburn, Bryce Elliot, Charley Nissen, Abby Danley, Sydney Bowles, Sam Sanders holding Cynnloch Gibson, Carson Kelly, Laura Danley, January Jensen, and Advisor Mrs. Stella Llante.
March Madness may in many minds reference the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournaments, also branded as The Big Dance, but Blaine County teachers might say the term also identifies a version of competitions, activities, and unmatched spring fever as students and teachers alike approach the fourth quarter of the school year. One of those competitions took place on March 25 at Glasgow High School. Nine students from Chinook participated in the High School Academic Olympics. As a team, they captured fifth place overall.
