Lux Emery King, Wažína (Nakoda), Niináánik'i (Aaniiih) "She is the One", whose arrival was highly anticipated, was lost to us on April 4, 2026 in Havre, Montana. A traditional pipe ceremony, burial, and feed were held April 6, 2026 in Hays.

Lux is survived by loving parents Emma Cole and Kobey King, of Harlem, MT; grandparents, Jennifer Perez, Frank (Skip) Cole, Valerie and Jeff Werk, and Jeremy King; great-grandparents, Margarett Campbell, Franklin (Randy) and Candace Perez, Leona and Bruce Kienenberger, Theresa and George Horsecapture, Jr., Toni King, Maggie Werk, and Reno Shambo; and great-great grandmothers, Betty Campbell and Velmarie Carrywater. She was preceded in death by great-grandfathers Frank Cole Sr., William Brisbo III, and Franklin Buck Perez.
