Ronald Jo Golie

Ron was born February 16, 1941 and passed away, at his home in Lynnwood, WA, April 2, 2026 of natural causes with his family and his faithful dog nurse Daisy at his side.

Ron spent 6 years in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam and traveling all over the world, he loved the Navy. He came back to Havre in 1963 and met his future wife, Dorene Holden. They were married January 4, 1964 and were married for 63 years.

Ron went to work for the Great Northern Railroad in 1965. He also worked for the BN and the BNSF railroads. Ron transferred to Interbay, WA in 1986 and retired as assistant general foreman. He loved his men and women who worked for him, he always saw good in everyone.

Ron retired to fishing daily with his buddies George Cebert and Daniel Larson, a lot of big fish stories but they always did it right and came home with their limit.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents and (2) brothers Hubert & Mickey and (1) sister Sharlene.

Ron is survived by his wife Dorene Holden Golie of Lynnwood, WA, SaDora Golie Hampson (Ward) Everett, WA, Ronald E. Golie Lynnwood, WA, Granddaughter Sarah Langel Gilbert (Kyle), Grandson Kadence Osborn (Zoe), Great Grandsons Devin & Dylan Gilbert, Adopted Grandchildren Taylor & Faith Cottrell, Great Grandson Tristan, Marty Golie (brother) and Sandy Diamond (Sister).

There with only be a small family memorial and any donations should go to PAWS in Lynnwood, WA or your local animal shelter.
