The first big track meet of the high school season was held last Saturday in Havre as North Star hosted the annual Cal Wearley Invitational.
And with more then 20 teams from all over Montana in attendance, the Chinook boys had a strong showing with 57 points to finish third overall. Fairfield was first and Havre was second. Harlem also finished sixth with 39 points.
On the girls side, Chinook scored just 14 points to finish 14th, while Turner was 10th in the girls meet with 19 points.
