It was a tough weekend on the softball diamond for the Havre Blue Ponies, as they dropped games to Shepherd and Laurel this past weekend.
The Ponies opened the weekend with a 9-1 loss to Shepherd.The Blue Ponies opened the scoring in the first after Bree Hanson singled, scoring one run. In the bottom of the first inning, Shepherd added one run in the second. Goodell walked, making the score 3-1.
A ground out by P Welch extended the Shepherd lead to 4-1 in the bottom of the third inning.
