It's spring rodeo season in the Big Sky Region, and Havre was the place to be last weekend as the Montana State University-Northern Rodeo Team hosted the annual MSU-Northern Rodeo at the Great Northern Fairgrounds.
Head coach Doug Kallenberger's women's team scored 340 points to finish second in the rodeo, while the Lights placed seventh.
The Skylight's Georgia Orahood placed third in the Women's All-Around for Northern, while Kellan Statham placed fifth in tie-down roping.
Orahood and Jean Baukol finished second overall in the team roping in Havre, while Marie Bartlett took sixth in breakaway roping. Orahood also took sixth in goat tying, while Dawn Vermlum finished fifth and Jill Marcenko was seventh.
The Lights and Skylights continue their spring Big Sky Region season with this weekend's Miles Community College Rodeo in Miles City.
