Chinook Golfers, Tennis Teams Face Tough Conditions Over the Weekend

Cancellations were part of the story once again last week for many area spring sports teams. However, both the Chinook golf teams and girls tennis team did get some competition in last Saturday.

The Chinook golfers visited Wolf Point last Saturday for the Wolf Point Invitational at the Airport Golf Club. The Chinook boys placed sixth out of 10 teams with a team total of 413. Just ahead of the Sugarbeeters was Harlem, which finished fifth with a 375. The tournament featured a host of Class B stalwarts, including Malta, Shelby and Conrad, as well as Glasgow.
