Havre track teams sweep Lions Invitational

It wasn’t an overly big field, but it was a competitive one. And still, the Havre High track and field teams dominated their own home meet.

Last Saturday, the Blue Ponies played host to the Havre Lions Invitational at the Havre Middle School Track, where the HHS boys scored 130 points to place first, while the Havre girls scored 140 points to also take first place. Malta was second on both sides.

In the girls meet, Havre star Macy Brandon finished second in the 100 meters, while Liv Cole was fourth, Cassidy Leeds was fifth, and De’Shaene Phillips was sixth. Ella Harber was third for the Ponies...
