Northstars play tough in Helena

It’s early in the 2026 American Legion baseball season, but the Havre Northstars were really tested this past weekend in Helena.

The Class A Northstars travelled to Helena last Sunday to play the Class AA Helena Senators in a doubleheader. And while the Northstars were swept by the Senators, they played well.

In the first game, Havre fell to Helena, 4-0. Havre got solid pitching from Quinn Elliott, who surrendered just four hits, but, the Northstars couldn’t plate any runs. Teegan Solomon and Tyson Brandon collected a pair of hits for the Northstars, who were shut down by Helena pitching.
