High winds wreaked havoc in the area last week, raising a dust storm, downing power lines and damaging transformers, breaking tree limbs and damaging houses, demolishing at least one carport in Havre.
At least one business Thursday morning had lost its credit and debit card processing ability due to the storm.
Wednesday and Thursday of last week saw westerly winds of 30 mph to 40 mph with gusts up to 85 mph.
