Northstars battle in Lethbridge

The Havre Northstars American Legion baseball team spent last weekend playing four Northern A District games in Lethrbridge.

Last Saturday, Havre split with the Lehtbridge Miners, losing a wild first game 15-14, before rebounding for a 10-5 win in the second game.

In the opener, Havre scored nine runs in the third inning to lead 9-6, but the Miners took the lead right back in the fourth. In the seesaw affair, the Northstars had the lead going into the bottom of the seventh, but the Miners walked the game off with a two-run hit.
