We've Got The County Covered
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and its partner, A-Core Concrete Specialists, Inc., began a roadway improvements project on First Street (U.S. Highway 2) in Havre last May.
The project will improve a 2.3-mile section of roadway from east of Ninth Avenue Northwest to 22nd Avenue North. Construction is expected to last about four months and cost $3.5 million.
Improvements will include:
Sealing concrete pavement cracks and joints.
Repairing and replacing damaged concrete panels.
Pulverizing the roadway surface.
Replacing decorative stamped crosswalks.
