Chinook Community Blood Drive Set for July 21st

Summer is a time for vacations, but it is also one of the most challenging times of the year for maintaining the nation’s blood supply.

According to the American Red Cross, blood donations often decline during the summer months as regular donors travel and school-based blood drives pause. At the same time, the need for blood remains constant due to accidents, trauma cases and other medical emergencies.
